Do you smell something?

I did this T-shirt design recently, for a company in Germany that trains bloodhounds to track people- how cool is that?!

Vacations are for making friends

Something about that cruise I was on had me drawing dogs a lot. This one is running along the beach with one of the locals.

Hot dogs

Went on a cruise a few weeks ago and did I draw other cruisers enjoying themselves by the pool? I did not! I drew dogs.

December sketchdump

Sorry- I've had a lot going on lately- I have been neglecting my blog far too much, but here are a few random things that have accumulated since my last post.

Dapper Dog

Just a little doodle of my in-laws Shih Tzu, Spike. He's not very bright, but he's always got a sunny disposition. If you can see it through all that fur.
I also want to say a big "Thank You" and "Welcome" to all the new followers I've gained over the last few weeks. You'll find that I'm not the most verbose blogger, but feel free to comment!

Take that!

The worst part is that none of the other dogs would believe Fido's story the next day.

Dogs don't like Oysters

This was directly inspired by one of Garrison Keillor's Tales from Lake Wobegon. Just a throwaway line about someone who thought they'd feed their dog oysters, and how much the dog hated them. I thought that was a great image.
Even better was his description of the dog trying to make itself throw up by putting it's own paw down it's throat.

Here Puppy!

I'm trying to figure out the best way to do some loose sketchy stuff on my Wacom. It's really tough to make it look spontaneous. I had to erase and redraw that tongue outline 4 times and it still looks terrible. But I like the color.
