Some quick sketches of my daughter. Bikes are harder to draw than people.

Cheeky kid

Saw this little girl at my daughter's dance place. She had the funniest little jowly face. Not hanging jowls persay, but they were so flexible they were almost as expressive as the rest of her face.

The people in my neighborhood

For a long time, I've wanted to learn to put more caricature into my figure drawings. I guess it's just a matter of focus. I took 30 minutes the other day and really concentrated on just peoples features. I didn't get much more than their faces or upper bodies in the drawings, but it still feels like a good step. As this step gets more natural I assume it will get easier to integrate the full body with a face I'm happier with.
