Something about that cruise I was on had me drawing dogs a lot. This one is running along the beach with one of the locals.

Still trying to figure out how to draw with my wacom the way I do with traditional medium. I have the basic sketching part down, but can't get a satisfactory final line- it's still too rough for anything but a doodle. Baby steps, baby steps.

 

One Happy Monkey

Anyone remember this little guy? I drew him back in 2009, and just now got around to coloring him. I think he looks even happier in color.

I'm working to flesh out some of my Pirate Cat designs. I posted a sketch of this guy over 2 years ago and thought he had such great personality that he was a natural cantidate to paint. The fun part was figuring out just what type of cat he should be. Here he is, in a shadowy corner of the Keelhauled Kitty Pub, regaling listeners with a tale of his adventures.
