Inktober Day 4: A day late

I was out of town at Yosemite over the weekend so I'm a bit late posting this.

Pig Knight

This was another character suggested by the Character Design Randomizer. The prompt was:

Body Type: Strong

Clothing: Metal Armor

Head Type: Pig

Weapon/Accessory: Lance

I have not seen the Kung Fu Panda movies, except for a few minutes of one of them, and there was an old wise turtle in it. I didn't intend for this to look like that character- I just like drawing turtle and they frequently end up being old turtles. I am told that this looks very much like the one in the KFP movies. Apologies to the artists who worked on those movies.

Just a girl and her robot

I've been using the Character Design Randomizer at this link, and it's pretty useful. It gives you some basic character appearance traits and it's really helped me to break out of drawing the same old things all the time. The prompt I used for this sketch was:

I came up with this strange pair with the help of a great site, Pickle Kitty's Character Design Randomizer! This site will give you a different combination of character attributes each time you visit and really helps people like me who tend to doodle the same things over and over again. The prompts I got for this one were

Developing Roxi

Here are a few super preliminary sketches for Roxi, the next character I'm developing for malestandard.com.

Yet again... Little Brother

More of the character my daughter and I affectionately refer to as "Little Brother". Here you can see him being defiant...

and greedy.
This last one shows him being dragged away by Mom. This usually earns her a few attempted swats of retalliation and cries of "Let go of me, woman!"

Little Brother Returns

A while back, I talked about a game I play with my daughter that we call Little Brother. We've been playing it so long that the character of Little Brother has really solidified in both of our minds. I decided I'd draw a couple sketches of little brother, as those sketches in the other post actually predate our playing the Little Brother game. Little Brother frequently shouts and stomps around. He's rarely clothed in more than a diaper (perhaps with a Spider-Man t-shirt)

Little Brother is often caught stealing sweets between meals. Generally it's his big sister (my daughter), using her magic powers of invisibility, who catches him. She uses her magic wand to turn the sweets into fruits or vegetables just as he puts them in his mouth.

For some reason, I gave this first one the big coat cuffs but forgot the rest of his coat. Oops! Even if you're a bloodthirsty Pirate Cat, your dog will still love you.
